Winnie Jenkins

Winnie Ellen Whitlow Jenkins, of Durango, Texas, was born November 23, 1931, near Belfalls, Texas, and died on August 25, 2015 in Durango.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett C. Whitlow and Rose Ellen Hartgrove Whitlow, and one son, Michael Wayne Jenkins. She is survived by her husband, Marshall Lee Jenkins; three sons, Frank Jenkins and wife Cathy of Richmond, Danny Jenkins and wife Nancy, of Satin, and Jimmy Jenkins of Durango; two brothers, J. E. Whitlow and wife Geraldine, of Eddy, and Ed Whitlow and wife Polly of Temple; six grandchildren, Jennifer Ellen Jenkins of Anchorage, Alaska; Heston Jenkins and wife Amy of Lott, Derek Jenkins and wife Kelly of Lott, Colby Jenkins and fiancée Lauren Bouldin of Lott, Wyatt Jenkins of Belton, and James Jenkins, II, and girlfriend Brittany of Lott; 8 great-grandchildren, Kinley, Kaitlin, Kutter, Grace, Riley, Hudson, Gunnar, and Jordan; numerous brothers and sisters-in-laws; cousins, nieces and nephews, and cherished friends and loved ones.

Winnie will be interred at Union Cemetery, Durango, TX, August 27.
