William Matthews

William Albert Matthews, 65, of Waco passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021. Celebration of Life will be 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 22 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, with Ernest Dunn speaking at 5 p.m.

William was born March 15, 1956 in Waco, Texas. He worked at Jones Manufacturing for 15 years and was the best welder around. William enjoyed spending time on his motorcycle by riding the open roads and hanging out with his biker groups. He was a wonderful husband, father, friend and the greatest Pawpaw in the world.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Jeni; and brother, Willie Matthews.

William is survived by his wife, Wanda; children, Steven Matthews and wife Tiffany, Justen Matthews, Candice Matthews, Charlie Littlejohn; step-daughters, Toi Hinojosa and Cellest Waits; grandchildren, Jolie, Athena, Phoebe, Hannah, and Colton; sisters, Laura Petricko and Wilma Milly; along with several nieces and nephews.
