William Howard Felkner

William H. (Bill) Felkner, 90 of Robinson, Texas passed away July 29, 2024. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 2nd at Pecan Grove Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Thomas officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Riesel Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 1st at the funeral home.

Bill was born April 25, 1934, in Waco, Texas to the late Henry and Ethel Felkner.

Bill was preceded in death by his son, William H. (Billy) Felkner, Jr., brother Wesley Felkner, and sister Joyce Prater. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Mary Lewis Felkner and daughter Susan Felkner Allen (Micky, Sr.), grandson Mickey Allen, Jr., granddaughter Emily Allen (Haley Mitchell), great granddaughters Madalyn Dinsmore and Stella Kate Allen. Bill is also survived by his brother Bobby Felkner (Ann), numerous nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and great nephews.

Bill grew up in Riesel, Texas until he joined the Air Force in 1956 and was stationed in Greenland. Upon returning from the Air Force, Bill attended Radio school in Memphis Tennessee. For many years worked in the Radio and Television industry. He later had his own advertising business, along with his son, Billy.

Pallbearers will be Mickey Allen, Jr., Haley Mitchell, Beau Chastain, Ricky Culverhouse, Joe Rex, and Robert Mosley. Honorary pallbearers are Deacons of First Baptist Church, Robinson.
