William “Bill” Holder Browder, 90, of Waco, TX, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 6, at Faulkenberry Cemetery, Faulkenberry Road, Groesbeck, TX. The family will receive visitors from 6 – 8 p.m., Friday, May 5, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, Waco, TX.
Bill was born April 19, 1933, to Weldon and Opal (Holder) Browder. He was born and raised in Groesbeck, TX. After serving his country in the US Army, Bill worked in the office at Cameron Wholesale in Waco. He and his family returned to Groesbeck where he worked at a family grocery store for many years. In 1970, they moved to Waco where he returned to Cameron Wholesale until he retired. Bill had a strong love for his family and friends, and he treasured every moment spent together.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tommy Browder; and wife Flora Browder.
He is survived by his daughter, Sheri Hendrix and husband Steven; son, Steven Holder Browder; grandchildren, Melinda Cox, Melisa McPherson and husband Chris, Morgan Branum and husband Travis; great-grandchildren, Stephanie Holder and husband David, Dustie Dickie and husband Garrett, McKynlee Marberry, Austyn McPherson, Ashley Branum, Emily Branum and Lauryn Branum; four great-great-granddaughters; two great-great-grandsons; and lifelong friend, Marty Martinez.
