No one could have asked for a better son, husband, brother, father, grandfather or friend.
He met his “Beautiful Bride”, Annie, on a blind date and it was love at first sight. Their love has endured all for the past 57 years and will continue on into the next life. Besides his wife, Bill is survived by their four children, Eric (Janie) Billings, Christina Ness (Jerry Schroeder), Barbara (Brian) Cowles, and Tim (Melissa) Billings. Bill and Ann are blessed with 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Bill is also survived by 1 brother and 4 sisters, Leslie (Pat) Billings, Jane Gribble, Betty Ann (Larry) Glover, ClairRene Walker, and Marylon (Tommy) Williams.
He was proceeded in death by his parents and 1 sister, Texanna Billings.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude’s in Bill’s name.
The family would also like to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the staff at Baylor Scott and White Hospice. Glenn, Amber, Jose, Larry, and Kelly, you are truly Angels from Heaven.
