Boyd Weldon Griffin, of Crawford, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the age of 72. Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, April 16, at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 15, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, in Waco.
Boyd was born October 5, 1942 in Waco, to A.J. and Velma (Warren) Griffin. He attended and graduated from Connally High School.
Boyd was preceded in death by his parents.
Boyd is survived by his son, Jimmy Griffin and wife Ramey; only grandchild, Rikki Griffin; sister, Gwen Sumpter; brothers, Sonny and Butch Griffin; as well as several nieces and nephews.
