Wayne Whitehead

Wayne Whitehead, 78, of Robinson, passed away July 30, 2014. Services will be Saturday, August 2, at 2:00 p.m. at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco, Rev. Lester Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Robinson Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Friday, August 1, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Pecan Grove Funeral Home.
Wayne was born June 21, 1936, near Carlton, Texas, to Wiley and Alpha Whitehead. He married Theresa Casper on September 12, 1958. Wayne was a member of Concord Baptist Church. He worked 46 years at Trinity Engineering, which later became Kleinfelder, and Langerman Foster Engineering Co. Wayne spent 11 years in the Army Reserves.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 55 years, Theresa Whitehead; his daughters, Tammie Boisjoli and husband Ron, and Tracye Stevens and husband Jimmy; grandchildren, Brady Wayne Boisjoli, Austin and Carsyn Stevens; brothers, M.J. Whitehead and wife Dorothy, and Butch Whitehead and wife Rita; sisters-in-law, Bernice Casper and Betty Blain; brother-in-law Paul Casper and wife Mary and 22 nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be his nephews, Steve Whitehead, Joe Whitehead, Paul Frank Casper, Tim Casper, Bruce Mohan and Micky Blain.
Honorary pallbearers will be his work family at Langerman Foster Engineering Co.
The family would like to thank the Providence Hospital ICU nurses and Providence Hospice for the wonderful care Wayne received.
