Wade Oliver Kennedy, Jr.

Wade Oliver Kennedy Jr, age 92, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024, at The Atrium of Bellmead. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, December 27th at Pecan Grove Funeral Home with Alan Ritchie officiating. 

Wade was born April 4th, 1932, to Wade Kennedy Sr. and Mildred (Britton) Kennedy in Corsicana, TX. He married Wanda Louise (Taylor) on November 4, 1961. They had four children: Diana (Eric) Stephenson, Daphne Louise (Doyle) Coleman, Wade Oliver Kennedy lll (Elizabeth) and Samuel Oliver Kennedy. They have six grandchildren: April Hoff, Erica (Steven) Allen, Amber (Chase) Bottlinger, Shelbie (Chris) Cowman, Ben Stephenson (Mikaela), and Averille Kennedy. Wade also has 9 great-grandchildren: Carter, Tess, Brayson, Cash, Kason, Lilly, Fred, Lukas & Kolt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews that he adored. They retired to the Waco area in 1998.

 Wade & Wanda were beloved members of the New Road Church of Christ and will be greatly missed by those who knew them. May we all treasure the good memories.
