Victoria Dianne Machalicek

November 19, 1965 — February 16, 2025

Bruceville

Victoria “Vicki” Dianne Machalicek, 59, of Bruceville-Eddy, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2025, surrounded by love.

Born on November 19, 1965, in Houston, Texas, Vicki’s life truly began when she was adopted by Robin and Wanda Barr. She was raised outside of Nacogdoches in a home filled with warmth, adventure, and the unwavering love of her parents and two protective older brothers. From an early age, Vicki had a fearless spirit—always on the move, always seeking the next adventure. Some of her fondest childhood memories included running through the woods and sunbathing on her parents’ rooftop, a testament to her free-spirited nature. Vicki grew into a strong and independent woman, forging deep friendships and creating cherished memories along the way. After high school, she married and dedicated herself to raising her children while working in the insurance industry. Yet, her heart led her toward a different calling—nursing. Determined to follow her passion, she enrolled in nursing school, a decision that became a source of immense pride. Earning her nursing pin was not just an achievement but a symbol of her lifelong commitment to caring for others. Her journey eventually brought her to Waco, Texas, where she embraced a new chapter filled with unexpected adventures and friendships. Those who knew Vicki before she discovered motorcycles would never have imagined her riding one—let alone driving one— but true to her nature, she embraced the thrill and freedom of the open road.

Above all else, Vicki’s greatest joy in life was her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love in her children: Cody Sanders, Colt Sanders, Jack Barr, Christopher Machalicek, Ethan Machalicek, and Emily Machalicek. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to twelve grandchildren: Paxton Sanders, Ollie Sanders, Robin Sanders, Noelle Sanders, Colt Sanders Jr., Layten Dees, Easton Dees, Palmer Machalicek, Parker Machalicek, Addy Machalicek, Raylee Machalicek, and Blakley Ann Machalicek. She is also survived by her beloved brothers, David Barr and Michael Barr, as well as her former husband, Chris Machalicek.

A celebration of Vicki’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 3, 2025, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home in Waco, Texas. Vicki’s warmth, laughter, and unwavering strength will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her adventurous soul, boundless love, and dedication to family and friends will forever be remembered.
