The visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 31st at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, with the rosary services beginning at 6 p.m.
Theresa was born on October 15, 1940. She had 6 sisters, and 3 brothers and was a loving wife, married for 67 years, to David Chavez Sr. She was part of a wonderful group of women called the Foxy Ladies and was the club President. They spent many years together and created lifelong friendships, including her 65 year friendship with Celia (Sally) Compian.
As a true-blue Texan, Theresa enjoyed her Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys. Undoubtedly she knew the score to whatever game was on TV at the time, and you could bet she was cheering on her team from home. She enjoyed watching her many grandchildren play sports and was involved in all of their work, on and off the field.
Theresa was widely adored and will be missed dearly.
