Thelma Holmes

Thelma Callie Holmes, 88, of Robinson, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 17, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, Robinson Drive, Waco. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Bosque County. The family will receive visitors 5 – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 16, at the funeral home.
Thelma was born March 14, 1926, in Bosque County, to Ulas and Callie Jones. She worked at General Tire. Thelma was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her Sunday School class, the 70+ Hugging Class.
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, Ulas and Callie Jones; three sisters and three brothers.
Thelma is survived by her daughter, Pamela Gallagher and husband James; sons, James Holmes and Phillip Holmes and wife Denise; brothers, Ulas Jones and Ruben Jones; sister, Patte Hahn; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; her extended family and her church family.
