Tam Lvin Hansen, 63, passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 at the Baylor Medical University Campus Hospital in Dallas, TX. Funeral services will be at 10 am Wednesday, Jan 20 at Cottonwood Baptist Church in Falls County, with Pastor Buddy Sipe officiating. Interment will follow at Cottonwood Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 pm, Tuesday, Jan 19 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco.
Tam was born on Nov. 7, 1952 to Billie LeRoy and Carolyn Joyce Marcy in Aransas Pass, TX. She graduated Valedictorian from Texhoma High School in 1970. Tam moved to Waco in 1987 where she was a paralegal with Haley & Davis and FirstCity Financial. She married Arthur Hansen on Nov. 6, 1994 in Lorena. Tam was active in the community as a children’s advocate and a member of Cottonwood Baptist Church. She believed her greatest achievement was a wife, a mother to her children and a grandmother to her grandchildren.
Tam is preceded in death by her father, Billie Marcy; step-mother, Barbara Taylor Marcy; step-father, Bert Junior Allard.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur; children, Billie Donovan Frittz, Leigh (JB) Barrington, Justin (Brittany) Hansen, Taylar (Korrey) Hansen, Dakota (Mandi) Hansen; grandchildren, Peyton, Haven, Lincoln, Kade, Berkeley, Graham; great-grandson, Cameron; mother, Joyce Allard; siblings, Dallas (Dave) Harris, Billie Dawn (Ralph) Hyde, Kevin Allard, Kenny (Cheri) Allard, Starla (Bruce) Word, Cheri (James) Cummings, Ward Allard; mother-in-law, Jocelyn Hansen; sisters-in-law, Naomi (Kenny) Arnold, Charlotte (Jerry) Sadler, Connie Hansen; numerous nieces and nephews.
