Tad was born on February 3, 1964 to Chuck and Jean Sweeney in Downey, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his brothers Ty and Mike Sweeney and his son, Stephen Sweeney.
Tad was an astounding golfer at a young age and could still hit the ball over 300 yards. After graduating Midway High School, he began building residential homes in the Waco and China Spring area. He worked at Parsons Roofing for many years as well as being instrumental in the building of BSR Cable Park and Surf Resort. He would spend his free time on weekends volunteering at BSR to ensure the safety of customers. Among his numerous projects and accomplishments was his current project of Parsons Whitetail River Ranch, Tad was and will always be the heart of the ranch. You might find Tad unwinding at Bosque Resort in his free time and his blood ran crimson for Alabama. Roll Tide!!! Tad loved so many and was loved by so many more. He was the type of guy who was always willing to lend a hand or help someone in need. He was more than just a friend. To many he was family. Tads extended family was the Parsons. Not only did they work together but they were his family.
Tad will be missed but never forgotten. We love you Tad!
