Denise was born on December 20, 1963, in Houston, Texas, to Sylvia Charleen Crockett and Peter Sanchez-Navarro. Although she grew up in Bedford, Texas, she completed her education and graduated from Mart High School. Denise's deep faith led her to embrace Christ at an early age, and she dedicated her life to serving others. As a young woman, she worked as a preschool teacher for a local church and wholeheartedly devoted herself over time to children's ministry. Her passion for making a positive impact on the lives of others extended beyond her personal life. Denise thrived as a Mary Kay Consultant, using her skills to bring joy and help women feel beautiful. She even rose to the position of Director for a time.
Denise's kindness and compassion knew no bounds. Alongside her best friend, Vicky Owens, she started a healing ministry, opening her home with love and care to those in need and always extending a helping hand. Her creativity shone through her passion for decorating and planning weddings, parties, and homeschool events, where she would bring joy to others through her unique ideas and attention to detail.
On September 10, 1991, in Waco, Texas, Denise married the love of her life, Dennis Bagby. Together, they created a strong foundation for their children and brought their families together. However, Denise's greatest joy in life came from being a "Nana" to her 11 grandchildren, as well as the many others whom she welcomed and loved dearly throughout the years.
Denise is preceded in death by her parents, Sylvia Crockett and Peter Sanchez Navarro, as well as her great niece, Ivy Statzer. She leaves behind a legacy of love and fond memories cherished by her loving husband, Dennis Bagby, and their four children, Kathrine Valley and her husband, James, of Chichester, New Hampshire, Josh Bagby and his wife, Candace, of Mart, Texas, Bryan Reese of Austin, Texas, and Amber Kirkland and her husband, Ethan, from Hallsburg, Texas. Denise will also be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Abigail, Isaiah, Nathaniel, Gideon Valley, Macie, Paisleigh Bagby, Owen Reese, Kole, McKynlee, Addylynn, and Luke Kirkland. Additionally, she is survived by her brother Steven Michael (Mike) Daigle and his wife, Frances, her sister, Marjorie Kay Daigle King, her sister Michelle (Missy) Statzer and her husband, Keith, as well as nephews Joseph Daigle, John Daigle, Shaun Statzer and his wife, Emma, Tyler Statzer and his wife, Jordan, and great nephews Jeffrey, Jayce, Bentley, Jayden, and Kason.
