Stewart Allen Solomon, of Waco, TX, died unexpectedly in his home on Sunday, May 8, 2016, at the age of 56. The graveside service, scheduled for Thursday, May 12, at 1:00 pm in McGregor Cemetery, McGregor, Texas, will be officiated by Pastor Todd Lovett. The family will receive visitors Wednesday, May 11, 6-8pm at Pecan Grove.
Stewart was born in Waco, Texas, on November 26, 1959, to Milton and Carol Sue Solomon. He graduated from Richfield High School in Waco. He lived his dream during his years in Tampa, Florida, where he worked as a top salesman for Lazy Days RV, providing RV support to NASCAR. After semiretirement, he returned to Waco and spend the last few years working with his friends at WacoMotorsports, where he again pursued his passion for sales.
He was Superman to his grandchildren and he was devoted to their care. Stewart was the voice of reason to the ones he loved and a safe harbor for many. He lived by his word. He was a constant knight in shining armor. Stewart loved Harleys, boats, swords, and his dogs. He expected the best of us all and gave us his best. He leaves a legacy of integrity and passion and will be sorely missed.
Stewart is preceeded in death by his mother, Carol Sue Ryals; father Milton D. Solomon; uncle Leonard Solomon; and his grandparents.
He is survived by his girlfriend Lisa Moreno, stepdaughter Mattie Moreno, grandchildren Macie Leon and Samuel "Bobo" Hardin, his Uncle Wayne and Aunt Juanda "Teeny" Safley; cousin Bobby Safley, and cousins Debbe Solomon, Sharon Solomon, and Marcy McDonald.
Pallbearers will be Butch Ferris, James Richards, Brian Schroeder, Brad Meece, Jonathan Wilson, and Ed Sparks.
