Steven Porter

Steven Edward Porter, of Waco, passed away July 18, 2019. Graveside services will be 10am, Friday, July 26, at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6 – 8pm, Thursday, July 25, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco.
Steven was the son of John Porter and Shirley Porter. He was a loving father to his children and enjoyed fishing with his kids and family, spending time outdoors, and family gatherings. Steven started playing football at an early age, it became his passion and he continued on at Robinson High School. He was always joking and laughing. He was loved greatly and will be missed.
Steven was preceded in death by his birth father, Clifford Doty; his granny, Mary Willey; grandpa, Bobby Porter. He is survived by his father, John Porter; mother, Shirley Porter; birth mother, Cynthia Wills; his children, Braden, Nickolas, Kyle, Isaiah, Summer and Jeremiah, along with their mothers, Amanda and Sarah; his siblings, Cathy, Keith, Karen, Melinda, Amanda, Randy, Ryan, Nikki N., Stephanie, Chris, Nikki C., Miguel and Serenity; his Gram, Betty Porter; grandfather, Jack Austin; and Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Doty and the Doty family; along with many other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Randy Wills, Ryan Wills, Ramon Trujillo, Jr., Joe Montemayor, Brandon Marshall, Joey Villareal, and Juan Cruz. Honorary bearers will be Braden Porter, Kyle Porter and Summer Porter
