Sherry Bennett

Sherry Ann Bennett, 66, of Chalk Bluff, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 29th, 2014, surrounded by her loved ones. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 3, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco, with Rev. Darrel Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8pm Tuesday September 2nd at the funeral home.
Sherry was born in 1947 in Wichita Falls to Delford and Christine Southward. Sherry was a loving wife to Carl Bennett. They shared an amazing 10 years together. She loved spending her time at flea markets and garage sales.
She was preceded in death by her parents Delford and Christine Southward.
She is survived by her husband Carl Bennett; sister Linda Wann; her children, Regina Marcott and husband Feller of Tokio, Chris RedElk and wife Lori of Robinson, Carla Hudson and husband Clay of Chalk Bluff, and Carl Bennett and wife Trista of Robinson; and her nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brandon RedElk, Nathan RedElk, Dillion Bridgers, Feller Marcott, Carl Bennett, Dustin Bennett, and Clay Hudson. Honorary pallbearers will be Hunter Floyd, Tyler Bennett, and Tanner Bennett.
