Shelley Bederka

Shelley Elaine Adams Bederka, 46, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 4, 2013. She passed away at a hospital in Dallas after a long battle with cancer. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 9, at Waco Memorial Park, with Pastor Jack Bodenhamer officiating. The family will receive visitors Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dalton W Adams.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Robert Bederka; son, Christopher Bederka; step-daughters, Kirsty and Jennifer Leard; mother, Rachel Pack; sister Angela Rubio and husband Rene; brothers, Thomas Lekas and wife Susan and Travis Lekas and wife Jennifer; best-friend (sister), Stacy Crow and husband Eric; sister-in-law, Vicky Garcia and husband Gabe; step-father, Jim Lekas; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was part of the family of First Baptist Church of Elm Mott.
Shelley was a very loving, kind and generous person. She had a wonderful smile and sense of humor. She enjoyed having family and friends gather at her home. She especially enjoyed spoiling the babies. She touched many lives in different ways. Shelley is deeply loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Pallbearers are Thomas Lekas, Travis Lekas, Stetson Lekas, Eric Crow, Jacob Mendoza, and Gabe Garcia.
