Sharon Joy Young, 71, went to be with her Heavenly Father, Thursday, March 20, 2014. Services will be 11 am, Monday, March 24, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Dr. the family will receive visitors at 10 am Monday, before the service at the funeral home.
Sharon was born October 3, 1942 in Waco, to Nobel and Rose Barbee. She graduated from Waco High School and attended Baylor University. She worked in banking for over 30 years, and retired as a Trust Officer and assistant VP. She was a woman of deep faith and was attending Antioch Community Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her loving husband, Bobby Young; son, Brad Young and wife Melissa; grandchildren, Hollie and Katelyn Young; sister, Yvonne Pompa and husband Roy.
