Severa Sanchez

Severa (Trevino) Sanchez, 85, of Waco, passed away on April 11, 2023.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11AM Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Oakwood Cemetery, 2124 S. 5th St. Waco, TX 76706 with Pastor Kenny Veazeay officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8PM Friday, April 14, 2023 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 N. Robinson Dr. Waco, TX 76706.

Severa was born on August 8, 1937 in San Diego, TX to Lorenza (Lerma) and Gilberto Garza.
She enjoyed planting flowers, cooking, and she loved to teach her grandchildren about the Bible.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lorenza (Lerma) and Gilberto Garza; step-father, Inosencio Trevino; husband, Frank Sanchez, Sr.; sons, Johnny Gonzales and Frank Sanchez, Jr.; granddaughter, Jenny Ann Williams, grandson, Jonnie Gonzales; and great-grandsons, Jessie Sanchez, Jr. and Joe Lazono, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Delia Rivera and husband, Larry; son, Jerry Lopez and wife, Selma; granddaughters, Jennifer Salinas and husband, Jason, Jeanette Garcia and husband, Donasiano; great-grandsons, Nathaniel Williams, Joe Sanchez and wife, Noami, and Adrian Williams; great-granddaughters, Krystal Lopez and husband, John, Annette Conway and husband, Joey, Stephanie Snelling and husband, Andy, Audrey Lopez, and Alma Gonzales; as well as many other great-great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Nathaniel Williams, Adrian Williams, Joe Sanchez, Andrew Lozano, Donasiano Garcia, and Jason Salinas.
