Sarah Melree Comer Curry passed away in Waco Texas on December 22, 2017. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, Dec. 29, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, with Rohnie Curry officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors 6 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 28, at the funeral home.
Sarah was born in Freestone County Texas to William A. Comer and Lillie Mae Christian Comer on March 6, 1943. She married the love of her life Charley C. Curry at midnight on June 27, 1958.
Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, parents and her son-in-law, Greg Wilkins.
She is survived by her daughters Sarah Charlene Wilkins of Riesel; Clif-Ann Paris and husband Ron of Waco; son Charley Curry III and girlfriend Jamie Grohoske of Hewitt. Grandchildren Chloe Wilkins, Ashley Wilkins and fiancé Kurtis Heady, Ronny Paris II and wife Krystal, Melree Paris, Stephanie Trammell and husband Cameron, Jessika Smith and husband Wes and Clifford Curry. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, Zoe Paris, Olivia Paris, Tommy Ray Trammell, Granger Smith, Caroline Smith, and Ronald Paris III and was excitedly expecting the seventh, Charleigh Heady, this coming January. Sarah is also survived by her sisters Elloise Comer of Waco, Juanita Peckham and husband Harry of Rantoul, KS, Elaine Brooks and husband Henry of Mansfield, TX, brothers Bill Comer and wife Susan of Robinson, Travis Comer and wife Gale of Waco. Sisters-in-law Aline Morris of Buffalo, Linda Park of China Spring, Glenda West of Waco, and Mary Falteisek and husband Paul of Kerrville, TX; and brothers-in-law, James Brasier and wife Marlene of Corsicana and Bob Park and wife Mickey of Bellmead and numerous loving nieces and nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.
