Sandra Lowrie

Sandra Ann “Sandy” Lowrie, 67, of Waco, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015 in Temple. Graveside services will be at 1:00pm on Monday, Nov. 16 at Waco Memorial Park, 6623 South Interstate 35, Waco with Rob Sellers officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6-8pm on Sunday, Nov. 15 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr. Waco.
Sandy was born on November 14, 1947 to J.A. and Estelle Schlemmer in Waco. She married George Lowrie on July 18, 1998. Sandy enjoyed her puzzle books, but loved going out dancing and to the casinos with George. Her greatest joy was being with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Estelle Oppenheim; husband, George Lowrie; and daughter, Kim Combs.
Sandy is survived by her daughters, Janet Alaminski and Lori Rochell; grandchildren, Taylor, Christopher, Alexia, Bradley, Brandi, Melissa, and Anthony; great-grandchildren, Andres, Jr., and Samuel; sisters, Shirley Lyman and husband, Allen, Linda Stallard and husband Robert, Debbie Griffin and husband Richard, and Nancy Oppenheim; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Phil Duckett; and fur baby, Bubba.
