Sandra Anderson

August 22, 1947 — March 7, 2015

Sandy was born on August 22, 1947 to Charles and Glendine Sears in Richwood, West Virginia. She graduated from Brentwood High School in Brentwood, New York in 1966. On August 21, 1981, she married Charles Anderson and lived in Lorena until her time of death.

Sandy served her community in many ways. She was a dedicated servant to her community, involving herself with organizations such as the Heart of Texas Fair and Rodeo, as well as the McLennan County Republican Ladies Club and McLennan County Republican Club. She managed and helped her husband at Anderson Veterinary Hospital and Top Notch Ranch, as well as in many aspects of her husband’s political campaigns. She was a very courageous and strong lady. Sandy was an avid bowler and competed at local, state and national levels with her local team, The Byrd House for over 25 years. After suffering a diseased fracture of her right arm, she refused to quit, and developed a left hand delivery. Sandy was a rabid football fan of both the fighting Texas Aggies and Dallas Cowboys. Sandy loved the good Lord and spent her entire life in fierce love and support of her family, friends and critters. She will be dearly missed by all.
