Sammy Tull, 78, of Waco, TX, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024. A memorial service to be determined by the family at a later date.
Sammy was born January 24, 1946, in Waco, TX, to Afton and Lillie Tull. He grew up in Chilton, TX, where he attended and graduated from Chilton High School. He was a member of the Army National Guard for 18 years. He had a love for old time country western music, going fishing, and he loved the San Francisco 49ers. He was also a big fan of drag boat racing and NACAR. Sammy retired from Walmart after 10 years.
Sammy was preceded in death by his parents, Afton and Lille (Herzog) Tull; wife, Lucy Tull; sisters, Bonnie Jones, Connie Saliccia; brother, Michael Tull; brothers-in-law, Ed Jones, Billy Jennings, and Dub Jennings.
He is survived by his daughters, Tammy Brown and husband, Bennie (BJ) of Waco, and Stacy Hardin and husband Matthew (Matt) of Morgans Point; 4 grandchildren, Colton Brown of Waco, Dustin Brown and wife Ashley of Robinson, Peyton Duran of Morgans Point and Paisley Duran of Belton; his siblings, Kenny Tull of Jewitt, Danny Tull of Waco, Marilyn Tull of Bryan, Rita Presley and husband Mickey of Bryan, Rickey Tull and wife Tammy of Lorena, brother-in-law, Sam Saliccia of Bryan; sisters-in-law, Kay Tull of Belton, Mary Jennings of Smithville, and Becky Jenning of Llano; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
