Russell Dean Sanford, 65, of Fairfield, passed away at a local hospital Tuesday, March 4, 2014. A memorial service will be held at 1 pm, Saturday, March 8, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Dr., with Bro. Mike Fort officiating.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Charlotte Sanford; brothers, Kenneth and Lester Ivy; daughter, Lena Denise Sanford; nephew, Leslie Heslip Jr.
He is survived by his fiancé, Geneva Jackson, children, Mary Sanford, Orvis Sanford and Paula Miller; grandchildren, Brenna Schwake and husband Jason, Randi Miller, Ashley Cruz, Alexis Sanford, Logan Palady, Tori Boyd and Bailey Sanford; great-grandchild, Noah Smith; sister, Betty Heslip and husband Leslie; nephews Mark and Lonnie Heslip Sr.
