Ruby Casey, 94, of McGregor passed away Friday, May 24, 2019. A memorial visitation will be 6-8:00 PM Tuesday, May 28th at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco.
Ruby was born August 21, 1924 to Bert and Ava (Campbell) Smith in McLennan County, Texas. She married H.J. Casey on January 11, 1957. Ruby worked at Marathon for 15 years. She then went to work at Waco ISD in the cafeteria for about 5 years. Ruby participated in a bowling league. She loved to dance and enjoyed playing dominoes and penny poker. Ruby is loved by many and will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, H.J.; three brothers; and five sisters.
Ruby is survived by her sons, Randy Power and wife Vinetta, Billy Power and wife Pam; grandchildren, Natasha Power, Chris Power, Miranda Power, Alicia White, Zachary Power, Samantha Green, Katy Green; great-grandchildren, Marlana, Lathan, Ava, Aaron, Chloe; great-great grandchild, Eva; sisters, Bobbie and Patsy; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
