Roy McCormick

April 28, 1931 — December 27, 2017

Roy E. McCormick, 86 of Robinson, passed away Wednesday evening December 27, 2017. A graveside service followed by interment with military honors will be held Saturday January 6, 2018 at 1pm at Waco Memorial Park, 6623 I35 S., Waco, with Pastor David Cozart officiating.
Roy was born April 28, 1931 to Roy and Alma McCormick. On March 13, 1975, he married Sandra London. Roy excelled in his military career and retired with the rank of Master Sergeant. In his later career, he worked for CertainTeed Corporation. Following his retirement, in addition to spending time with his family, Roy loved working with Robinson ISD where he was affectionately call “Mr. Roy” by the students.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandson, Christopher John.
Roy was a devoted father and “Papaw” and will be greatly missed by his family. In addition to his wife of 42 years, Sandra; Roy is survived by his children, Chris and wife, Bobbie, Chad and wife, Courtney, Connie and husband, Paul, and Brenda and husband Paul; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
