Rosie Bedell

Rosie Bedell, 68, of Waco, passed away Saturday April 29, 2017 surrounded by her family. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 pm Wed. May 3 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco, with a rosary to be recited at 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 am Thurs. May 4 at St. Eugene, 207 N Johnson Dr., McGregor, TX 76657, with Father Boniface as celebrant. Burial will follow at McGregor Cemetery.
Rosie was born on July 14, 1948 to Cornelius and Augustina Bedell in Austin, TX and was the oldest of nine siblings. She lived and raised her three children in McGregor; Basilia Martinez, Antonio Martinez, Jr and Nieves Martinez.
Rosie was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Ben, Gilbert, Leon and Chris.
Rosie is survived by sisters, Helen and Toni, brothers, Danny and Paul. Children, Basilia, Antonio, Jr, and Nieves and wife, Lanie. Grandchildren, Alanis, Sevein, Angelina, Nieves, Jr, Antonio, Sabrina and Bianca.
She is remembered as a friend, but more importantly, a wonderful mother and will be greatly missed.
