Rosemary Ford Breedlove 76, of Waco, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, May 24, 2013. The family will be having a private graveside service Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Gerald Cemetery with Chaplain Greg Knippa officiating. The family will receive visitors Monday from 6-8 pm at the Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Dr.
Rosemary was born in February 10, 1937 in Waco to Odis and Louise Ford. She attended Waco schools and lived there most of her life. She was the last of 5 children. Rosemary had worked at the VA Hospital in Waco and the Federal Protective Services in Ft. Worth. She was also employed by the Texas Department of Human Services and the Texas Workforce in Waco until her retirement in 1998.
Mrs. Breedlove served as a volunteer for several organizations which included the American Red Cross, Citizens Against Alcohol, The Freeman Center in Waco and most recently served as a Volunteer for Azle Community Center. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the VFW, Post #2137 in Azle and was an inactive member of Beta Sigma Phi, where she served as President in 1966.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Herbert A. Breedlove in 1998; brothers, James E. and George O. Ford; brother-in-law, Wayne Breedlove.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna Perry and Linda D. Lacy both of Waco; sisters Bess Page and Evelyn Stowers; grandchildren, Chris and Vanessa Perry both of Waco, and Joey Lacy of Florida; great-grandchild, Gracelynd Gardner of Waco.
