Rosemary Farfan Alonso

Rosemary Alonso, 62, of Waco, TX, passed away October 2, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 12, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home. 

Rosemary was born and raised in South Waco to John and Rose Alonso on July 15, 1962. She graduated from University High School then attended 4C College. She went on to work at Fabnit and ended up at Hillcrest Hospital and Baylor University as a housekeeper. She had two daughters, Priscilla Webb and Victoria Alonso. She was a loving grandmother to Nayelee and Noel Salinas. 

Rosemary enjoyed spending time with family, dancing, cooking, cleaning, and watching her favorite TV shows (true crime, NCIS, Law & Order and her novelas.) She mostly enjoyed being with her grandchildren. They were her world.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her father, John Alonso; mother, Rose Garcia Alonso; nephews, John Donald and Richard Alonso; brothers, Mario, Richard and George Alonso, and godson, Modesto Martinez.

She is survived by her daughters, Priscilla Webb, Victoria Alonso and fiancé Leon Salinas, Jr; goddaughter, Maria Martinez; grandchildren, Nayelee and Noel; brothers, John Alonso and wife Nellie, Jerry Alonso, David Alonso and Joe Alonso; sister Gloria Schaver and husband Jody; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
