Rose Marie Lawson Parker went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, May 20, 2013. She passed away at home after a lengthy illness. A graveside service will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Park on Thursday, May 23, at 10 a.m. Service will be officiated by Rev. D. F. Barrett. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 22, from 5-7 p.m. at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Dr.
Rose was born on December 21, 1934 to Troy Frank Lawson and Reba Ewing Lawson in Speegleville, Tx. Both parents preceded her in death. She married Weldon C. Parker, her high school sweetheart, on June 14, 1952. They loved and cherished each other for over sixty years. Rose worked for Texas Farm Bureau for a few years. She became a Christian as a very young girl. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hewitt.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Frank Ewing Lawson.
Survivors include her husband, daughters, Janice Rinewalt and husband, Larry, of Hewitt, Diane Moon and her husband, David, of Waco; grandchildren, Jason Rinewalt and wife, Teri, Jeremy Robinson and wife, Sandy, Jeffrey Rinewalt and wife, Jalayne, and Tessa Jamerson and husband, Freddy; great-grandchildren include Elle and Easton Rinewalt, Cody Robinson, Kyndal and Jonah Rinewalt and Brianna, Myah and Brooklyn Jamerson.
