Sarah was born May 7,1933 in Satin, TX to Cruzita Vasquez and Florencio Guerra. She married the love of her life Alejo "Alex" Chavez on September 20, 1952. Sarah was a homemaker who was a wonderful cook and an amazing seamstress making all of her children's clothing. She also was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church and of the Guadalupanas society. Through the years Sarah developed a great fashion sense with all her matching jewelry and loved dressing up to watch her beloved Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, and Baylor Bears. She always looked forward to sitting outside spending time with her children and grandchildren admiring her beautiful flowers, scratching her lotto tickets and watching her son Robert cook for everyone. Sarah was a beautiful soul who loved to give. You would always leave her house with a "goodie bag". She even made sure she had one prepared every Tuesday for the gentlemen who picked up her trash.

Sarah was loved deeply by all who knew her and will be forever missed.
