Rodney William “Rooster” Ritchie, 48, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2015 after a valiant fight against cancer. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016, 1 p.m. at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco with Pastors Nathan Dunman and Dr. Cary Killough officiating.
Rodney was born January 7, 1967 in Houston to Bill and Wanda Ritchie. He dedicated his life to the Lord at a young age, was very involved in RAs growing up, serving in many summer camps and missions. Above all, Rodney was a dedicated and loving husband and father, who had a fighting spirit and great sense of humor.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 24 years, Wendy Pollard Ritchie; sons, Kristofer “Will” and Clayton Ritchie; daughters, Emma and Erynn Ritchie, all of Robinson; and cherished members of the Pollard, McGlone, Rulison, and Ritchie families.
