Robert Williams, 89, of Robinson, went to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, April 7, 2015. A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 10, at Waco Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors 6 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 9, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco.
Robert was born May 20, 1925 to Bert and Blanche Williams. He married Evie Dee Fulton, July 18, 1942. Robert served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a member of Family of Faith Church of the Nazarene. He worked for many years at Pittsburg Plate Glass. He also worked for Binswanger Glass, Rocket Glass, and Williams Glass and Mirror.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Evie Dee Williams in 2012; and his parents; three brothers; one sister; and one grandson.
Robert is survived by her daughters, Allene Rhodes and husband Charles, LaJuan Vaughn and husband Larry, and Ruth Ann Allard and husband Wes; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
