Robert “Bob” Vincent passed away Saturday morning Sept. 16, 2017, at the age of 67. Memorial services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday Sept 23, 2017, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home Chapel, 3124 Robinson Dr. with Rev. Gary Westbrook officiating.
Mr. Vincent was born March 2, 1950, in Texarkana, Texas, the son of the late Robert Henry and Evalyn (Martin) Vincent and attended various schools in the Texas panhandle area. From 1968 until his honorable discharge in 1972, he served his country in the Army. On April 10, 1971, he married Cheryl June Brewer in Waco, Texas.
Throughout his life, he enjoyed hunting and collecting guns and knives. Much of his life was spent as a diesel mechanic with Dr. Pepper and the McLennan County School Bus Garage. He also served as a reserve police officer and worked security at various places.
Also preceding him in death was an aunt, Ruby Niemeyer and an uncle, Johnnie Martin.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Vincent; a daughter, Kathleen Marie Vincent; a son James Vincent and wife Ashley; and a granddaughter Hanna Vincent.
