Robert K. "Rabbit" Mayfield, 72, of Robinson, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014. Services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, June 7, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Amos Humphries officiating. Burial following at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, June 6, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Drive.
Robert was born December 31, 1941 in Mt. Calm, Texas to Frank and Martha Willis Mayfield. He served in the Air Force. Robert worked for Cameron Mills, Island Plastics, Waco State Home and Waco ISD. He was a member of Park Lake Baptist Church for over 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one granddaughter, Melinda Alcantar.
Robert is survived by his wife, Gloria of Robinson; daughter, Michelle Alcantar and husband, Robert, of Leander; son, Kevin Mayfield of College Station. He is also survived by two brothers, James Mayfield and wife, Ann, of Robinson and Donnie Mayfield of Mt. Calm.
