Robert Laughlin

Neil Laughlin, 85, of Waco passed away Wednesday Nov. 6, 2013 at his residence. Services will be 10 am Friday Nov. 8, 2013 at Meadowbrook Baptist Church 1207 N. Old Robinson Road with Rev. Cary Killough officiating followed by burial at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm, Thursday at Pecan Grove F.H. 3124 Robinson Rd.
Neil owned & operated Service Cleaners in East Waco for many years. “Papa”, as many knew him, was a beloved father, grandfather & great grandfather. This sweet, godly man’s passing has left a void in our hearts but we have hope in his salvation & devotion to the Lord. Throughout his life, the constant display of unwavering faith is a reminder of the true meaning of Christianity. His loving spirit will be missed. He was preceded in death by Margaret, his wife of 38 years, & his second love, Hazel, his wife of 25 years. In heaven, he will be met by family & friends who have passed before him. He survived by his children; Connie Storen, Donna Russell, Jan Daniel & husband Bill, John Laughlin & wife Cathy and Delores Black & husband Billy, Diane Pophin & husband Danny. He has many loving grandchildren & great grandchildren he also has survived by. Pallbearers will be John Laughlin, Bill Daniel, Joel Daniel, Dale Pruiett, Elias Perez, Greg Nolan, & Mark Stephens.
