Robert Lanford

Robert Lanford, 72, of Waco, passed Monday June 11, 2018. A graveside service will be held 1 pm Thursday June 14, at Waco Memorial Park, 6623 I 35, Waco, with Pastor David Cozart officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 pm Wed. June 13, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr. Waco.
Robert was born August 6, 1945 to J.C. and Julie Lanford in Marlin, Texas. He married Betty Ann Locke on Sept. 9, 1965 and they enjoyed 41 years together before her passing in 2006. He loved to garden, camp and hunt, but especially loved to fish, specifically catfish. He worked at M&M Mars as a machine operator until his retirement.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty; parents, J.C. and Julie Lanford; and brother, Jerry Allen Lanford.
Robert is survived by his sons; Anthony William Lanford and Terry Wayne Lanford; grandchildren, Kelly Duane Lanford, Kristi Lanford Garcia, Kalee Cameron Lanford, Mckenzie Morgan Lanford, and James Waylon Lanford; and great-grandchildren, Ryder Wayne Lanford and Dean Wylde Lanford.
