Robert Lee Haug, 54, of Robinson, TX, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021. A celebration of life will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 14, at Bethel Methodist Church in Robinson, TX, with Rev. Sam Shreffler officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m., at the church.
Robert was born June 16, 1967, in Waco, TX, to John and Linda Sue Erskine Haug. He served his country in the US Army. Robert had a love of the outdoors, whether it be gardening or working in his yard. He worked at C & M in Waco for over 20 years. More than anything, he adored his kids and grandkids.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, John Haug; and his sons, Zachary and Preston Haug. His mother, Linda Sue Haug, passed away July 8, 2021, hours after Robert.
He is survived by his children, Johnny and wife Teri, Katie Clay and husband Tyler, Tori Haug and Brady Haug; sister, Ginger Haug; grandchildren, Aaron Haug, Colt Haug, Carter Haug, Thatcher Clay, Jensen Clay, Chandler Haug, and Baby Clay, who will be born later this year; along with his former wife, Karen Smith-Haug, and many other friends and relatives.
