Robert L.Bush born on March 25, 1924 passed away peacefully on October 22, 2014 at the age of 90 years.
Robert was born in Smith Bend (Bosque County) to Jake & Mary Bush. He valiantly served his country during WWII, was an avid fisherman and had a passion for his family, especially his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Robert loved children, and until his 88th birthday always got to their level on the floor to play with them.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife Mary; 4 brothers; 2 sisters.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Joyce & husband Perry Goolsby; Jim Bush & wife Jan; Danny Bush, Gary Bush & partner Dusty; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren with 1 on the way; faithful furry companion, Sticker Bush.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 11am at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24, 2014 from 5-7 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco.
For their caring service, the family would like to thank Providence Hospice Nurses, Aides & Chaplain Greg; Providence Hospital 4th floor nurses & special caretaker Mizel. Memorials may be made, if desired, to Providence Hospice.
