Richard Lee “Ricky” Pilant, age 54, passed away at his home on June 24, 2013. Visitation will be Saturday, July 6, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Pecan Grove Funeral Home.
Ricky was born in Waco on September 16, 1958 to Kermit and Robbie Lee Pilant. He attended Connally High School. In 2005, Ricky and his brother, Don, founded DR Transport. Ricky was currently employed as a truck driver.
Ricky was a free spirit who enjoyed driving, frisbee and hacky sack, and spending time with his friends.
Ricky was preceded in death by his parents. His sister, Martha Pilant Howard, passed away 4 days after Ricky on June 28, 2013.
He is survived by his brother, Don Pilant and his wife, Willie; niece, Donna Pilant; nephew, Tom Pilant; aunt, Jo Veta Quinn; cousins and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
