Randy Simons

Randy Ray Simons, of Valley Mills, TX, passed from this life to his eternal life, on the morning of August 26, 2022. Randy was born February 27, 1950, in Rosenthal, TX, to Lonzo Luther Simons and Maud Hickox Simons. He was the youngest of four siblings, and was preceded in death by his parents, his older sister, Jenny Joyce Simons, his brother, Truman Lee Simons, and his “little sister”, Linda Wacill Simons.
Randy was raised in the community of Rosenthal, TX; he attended schools in Rosenthal and Robinson. Randy learned his mechanical abilities from his dad. In 1965, Randy and his dad went into partnership together in the service station and repair business in Robinson. Later, Randy went into the auto parts business in 1972 and retired in 2002. Randy loved the farm life, raising cows, chickens and gardening. He also loved deer hunting on his property; especially taking his youngest daughter, Adrianna, deer and turkey hunting. Randy was a wonderful husband and dad. He always made sure that his family knew how much he loved him with words and his actions .
Randy leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 28 years, Patricia; oldest daughter, Rebecca Lynn Simons of Alvin, TX, and youngest daughter, Adrianna Megan Simons-Suaste and husband Angel of Dallas, TX; as well as many extended family members and cherished friends and extra special friend, Steve Baxley.
Randy requested a private family graveside funeral with only his family in attendance. We honored his wishes on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. Morgan Lyons officiated.
