Rachel Loredo

Rachel Loredo, 89, passed away on December 18, 2020. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco, Texas. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home in Waco, Texas.

Rachel was born in Laredo, Texas on December 18, 1931 to Reverend Cecilio Jacinto and Florencia (Espinosa) Jacinto. She later married the love of her life, Juan Luna Loredo on January 9, 1948 and they celebrated 64 years of marriage together until his passing on September 30, 2012.

She enjoyed playing the piano, singing, reading her bible, praying for everyone every day, and writing down everything she did on a daily-basis. Rachel also spent a lot of her time with her grandson, Justin Loredo- they were like two peas in a pod. They were always together laughing, watching TV, and spending time with one another.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend Cecilio Jacinto and Florencia (Espinosa) Jacinto, husband, Juan Luna Loredo, great-grandson, Brian Christopher Loredo, and great-granddaughter, Krizteena Grinie.
Survivors include her son, Hector J. Loredo and wife, Rebecca, daughters, Juanita Torres and Amelia Grinie, 10 grandsons, 23 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
