Pauline Angerman Rosenauer, age 102 of Waco, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2021. Her body will lay in state at Pecan Grove Funeral Home in Waco Texas on Thursday February 4th from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
A graveside service honoring her life on earth and celebrating her new life in heaven will be held Friday at 11 AM at Waco Memorial Park. Her nephew Rev. Ray Angerman officiating.
Pauline was born on August 18, 1918 in Aleman, Texas close to Hamilton, Texas to Fritz and Emlie Angerman. In 1920, her family moved to Waco farmhouse where she lived until she was in her 90’s. Pauline was married to Harry Rosenauer in December 1962.
She graduated from Waco High School in 1939. After graduation, Pauline worked downtown at McCroys, Sears and at a saddle company. She was also a sales lady and later moved to the sewing room at Holts Sporting Goods. Later Holts changed to Fab Knit.
After high school, Pauline attended Wilton Cake Decorating School where she learned to bake and decorate beautiful cakes. Her other hobbies included her love for flowers. Her secret to a long life is to keep moving, don’t watch TV, instead read the newspaper.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harry and her 3 brothers, August Angerman, Walter Angerman and John Angerman. Although she had no children, Pauline was blessed with many nieces and nephews.
