Paul Jenkins

Paul E. Jenkins, 85, peacefully passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022 surrounded by his five daughters. There will be a memorial visitation for family and friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, September 29 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home.

Paul was born April 22, 1937 to AM and Lois Jenkins in Waco, Texas. He joined the US Air Force in 1956 and worked with the Crash and Rescue unit. That same year he married Imogene Eastep of Houston and had 5 daughters, Paula and Larry Haferkamp of Burleson, Rhonda and Tim Hammond of California, Barbara and Steve Hart of Waco, Lea Ann and Gary Mathews of Valley Mills, and Cheryl and Jim Mathews of Valley Mills. In 1972, He married Barbara Ann Oliver of Waco and adopted a son Bryan Allen Jenkins of Valley Mills.

After he left the Air Force he joined Waco Fire Department and then went on to open his own body shop with his dad and it became Jenkins Body and Paint Shop on 25th and Columbus until he retired in 1997. Paul has one brother Marvin T. Jenkins of China Spring and one sister Peggy Curtis of Oklahoma and one predeceased sister Zada McDaniel of Ft. Worth. He has 17 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
