Odell Sparkman 77, of Waco passed away surrounded by his loving family, Friday, September 13, 2013. The family will receive visitors Saturday, September 14, from 6-8 PM at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Dr. Services will be 2 PM, Sunday, at the funeral home. Burial to follow, Monday at 10 am at Rosemound Cemetery.
Odell was born November 13, 1935 to Robert and Stella Sparkman. He worked for Owens Illinois Glass Plant, retiring with 35 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 11 siblings and daughter, Beverly Jane Sparkman.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elnora; children, Gloria Pustejovsky and husband Larry Sr., Patsy Schimschat and husband Raymond Sr., Pam Sparkman, Cindy Studer and husband Richard and Ronald Sparkman; 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Anette Hollingsworth; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
