Nicolasa 'Nick' Morales

April 7, 1937 — January 4, 2024

Nicolasa (Nick) Morales, 86, passed away on January 4, 2024, with her family by her side. Visitation will be Thursday, January 11 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. A rosary will be recited at 6:30pm at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive.

Our mom was loved so much by those who knew her. She had a special place in her heart for her favorite person, Elvis Presley, and loved to watch her favorite tv shows on ME-TV. She was self-employed for well over 50 years until she retired in 2016. She was considered family to those who employed her. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren more than anything. She will be greatly missed by her family and her friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Nolberto (Albert) Morales. Her parents Constancio and Petra Deleon. Her brothers Tony Deleon, Paul Deleon, Joe Deleon, and Pete Deleon. Her sister Mary Perez and her daughter-in-law Patti Morales.

She leaves behind her children, Albert Morales Jr., Mona Dominguez and husband Daniel, Tammy Strunck and husband John, and Alex Morales and wife Monica. Her grandchildren Eric Morales, Jenna Dobbs and husband Dustin, Justin Dominguez and wife Nancy, Laura Dominguez, Marcus Dominguez, Jessica Dominguez, Krysten Lopez and husband David, Abel Morales, Aidan Morales, Anthony Morales, China Ramirez, Olivia Mendoza, and Xavier Ramirez. Also, several great grandchildren, Brayden, Amelia, Jaslynn, Aaron, Andrew, Jackson, Noah, Elias, Anneliese, Domasio, Joeangel, Dee Angelo, Joseph, Eliana, Avianna, and Aaliyah. Also, her brothers Jesse Deleon and wife Betty, and Constancio Deleon Jr. and wife Lupe, and her sisters Clara Salinas and husband Wally, Kathy Mexia, and Esperanza (Hope) Perez along with several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Baylor Scott & White Hospital, BSW Hospice nurses for their excellent care and to Hewitt Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
