Nettie Luna

Nettie Rivera Luna 98, of Waco passed away Wednesday December 27, 2017 at home. Services will be Thursday January 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 N. Robinson Dr, Waco, Texas 76706. Visitation will be Wednesday January 3, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Funeral home.
Mrs. Luna was born December 29, 1918 to Narciso Rivera and Dominga Santos Rivera in Lajitas, Texas. She married Enes Luna on October 29, 1935.
Nettie stayed home to raise their 11 children. She was a strong believer in God and attended church as often as possible and read her bible daily until she became disabled.
Mrs. Luna was proceeded in death by her husband Enes Luna, a sister Gregoria Perez, a daughter Clara Luna and a son Joe Luna.
Survivors include four sons Jesse Luna and Adam Luna both of Phoenix, AZ; Angel Luna and wife Christie of Bremerton, WA; Dale Luna of Greenville, S.C.; five daughters Eva Garza of Ennis, TX; Lydia Luna of Waco, TX; Gloria Amador of Virginia Beach, VA; Faye Delacruz and husband Frank of Albuquerque, N.M. and Linda Lµna of Phoenix, Az., 51 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and great-great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be sons, Angel Luna, Dale Luna, grandsons; Augustine Amador Jr., Michael Luna, great-grandsons; Roman Hernandez Jr, Anthony Hernandez. Honorary Pallbearer will be grandson, Johnny Luna.
