Nettie Jackson passed away on Friday, May 9, 2014 at a local hospital. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 13 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Dr. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 14 at 1:00 pm at Robinson Cemetery.
Nettie was born in Hillsboro, Texas, on November 21, 1939. She was one of ten children born to L.C. Braden and Lois P. Meador. She was a member of Family of Faith Church of the Nazarene in Robinson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Catherine Santhuff and Helen Schoggins; and her brother, Windol Braden; and several brothers-in-law. She is survived by her twin Bettie Hughes, her sisters, Dortha Brown; Louise Threadgill; Alice White and husband Bill; Patricia Dobias and husband Joe; and Judith Murphy and husband Leon; sister in law Dorothy Braden; and many nephews and nieces.
