Natalie Wilson Smith 51, of West, passed away at a local hospital, Saturday, August 3, 2013. Services will be 10 am, Thursday, August 8, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Dr. with Pastor Steve Abbe officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Wednesday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
Natalie was born November 3, 1961, in Waco TX, to Leon Wilson and Lena Thrasher. She graduated from Robinson High School in 1980, and then attended TSTC earing two associate degrees. She worked for EMSI as a book keeper, loving her job and co-workers. She loved playing dominoes and working crossword puzzles. She went fishing when she could and helped raise a garden before she became ill.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leon Wilson and wife Gloria; grandparents, Earl and Beadie Wilson and Rufus and Eva Lena Thrasher.
She is survived by her son, Zachary Fitzhugh; mother, Lena Shaw and husband Charles of Robinson; fiancé, Junior Gerik of West; step-brother, Charles Shaw of Bosqueville; half-sister, Reagan Wilson of Arizona and numerous, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Mike Spicer, Mike Fitzhugh, Brad Turnage, Tanner Shaw, Brian Timmons, Nathan Henderson, Keith Norden and Cody Witt.
